Welcome to Shiptrutyler. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our services, including package forwarding, customs clearance, and delivery from the United States to Jamaica. By using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Definitions
“Company” refers to Shiptrutyler.
“Customer” refers to any individual or business using our services.
“Package” refers to any shipment received, processed, and/or delivered by the Company.
Service Overview
Shiptrutyler provides customers with a U.S. shipping address to receive goods, which are then forwarded to Jamaica for delivery. Services include:
Receiving packages on behalf of customers
Consolidating shipments upon request
Customs clearance assistance
Local delivery
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Provide accurate personal and contact information.
Ensure all items shipped comply with Jamaican and U.S. import/export laws.
Pay all applicable shipping fees, customs duties, and taxes.
Declare package value accurately for customs purposes.
Retain all invoices and receipts for shipped goods.
Prohibited Items
The following are strictly prohibited and will not be shipped:
Illegal drugs, weapons, ammunition
Hazardous materials (flammable, explosive, corrosive)
Counterfeit goods
Perishable goods without proper clearance
Items prohibited by Jamaica Customs or U.S. law.
Customs Clearance
The Company will assist with customs clearance but is not responsible for customs delays or decisions.
All customs fees and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Failure to pay customs fees will result in packages being held until payment is made.
Delivery & Timeframes
Estimated delivery time is typically 5–10 business days from the date the package leaves our U.S. facility.
Delays caused by customs, weather, courier services, or other unforeseen circumstances are outside the Company’s control.
The Company is not liable for delivery delays beyond our direct control.
Payment Terms
All shipping fees, customs charges, and service fees must be paid in full before package release.
Payment methods accepted: Bank transfer, and cash.
Failure to pay within 5 days of package arrival will result in storage fees of JMD $750/day.
Liability & Insurance
The Company is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to goods unless the customer has purchased insurance.
Claims for lost or damaged goods must be filed within 48 hours of delivery with proof (photos, receipts).
The Company’s liability is limited to the value declared by the customer.
Storage Policy
Packages must be collected or scheduled for delivery within 5 days of arrival in Jamaica.
After 5 days, storage fees will apply.
Packages unclaimed after 60 days will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of.
Termination of Service
The Company reserves the right to:
Refuse service to any customer violating these Terms & Conditions.
Suspend or terminate service without notice for illegal or prohibited use.
Changes to Terms
Ship Tru Tyler reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with the effective date.
